ESA Systems supply and install pedestrian and vehicle access controls, vehicle loop detectors and a range of radio control receiver's and transmitters to operate any automated system.
PAXTON ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
Standalone Access Control
Standalone systems are administered using programming cards rather than a PC. The required access is controlled using standalone systems that operate independently of each other. The simple method of administration, using card packs, allows users to be granted access using a single token. These systems are ideal for smaller access requirements and are available in proximity token, keypad and mag stripe card versions.
Compact is a simple all-in-one solution for low security internal applications. There is no separate control unit as everything is housed within the reader. This means that there are fewer components leading to an easier installation.Tokens are used to gain access. As Compact is a standalone system it is administered using simple card packs.
SWITCH 2 RANGE
Switch2 is a standalone system with a separate control unit. This provides higher security than a compact system for external and higher security internal doors. The control unit is used in conjunction with a Paxton access readers or keypads. The system consists of a control unit, reader and tokens.
As Switch2 is a standalone system it is administered using simple card packs.
PC based Access Control
PC based refers to networked access control systems that are administered using one or more
PCs. Being networked means that all doors on the system can be administered from a central
location. A user can be instantly denied access if required. PC administration gives greater fexibility over the control of the system. For example, users can be granted access into particular areas only at specific times. Reports can be generated showing a history of user movements around the building.
PC based systems can be used with proximity token readers, keypads and mag-stripe card readers. PC based systems are generally easier to manage for large organisations.
NET 2 RANGE
Net2 is an advanced PC based system. It has easy to use software. The standard software includes all the features an organisation requires is free. Users can be added to the system quickly and easily. Access reports can be generated at the click of a button. The door control units can be networked together. A Net2 system components includes control units, readers, tokens, desktop reader and free software.
VEHICLE ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS
Loop detectors allow for vehicle access of automatic gates and barriers by supplying an open or close command (Entry or Exit loops) and also as a safety feature to stop gates and barriers when a vehicle is present (Safety Loops). Used in conjunction with a road loop which is installed within the road surface. When energised the road loop sets up a magnetic field above the road surface that can be used to detect vehicles.
Radio Receivers allow for vehicle access of automatic gates and barriers by supplying an open or close command. Used in conjunction with Radio Transmitters which . Radio Receivers can be supplied as a stand alone receiver to facilitate the use of other equipment using a single radio transmitter or are supplied within the automation control panel.
Radio Transmitters are the most popular and cost effective means of gate and barrier control for smaller access systems. Available from 1 to 4 buttons to control more than one automated system if required. Available as either a fixed code or for extra security a rolling code transmitter.
